A fun Party to end Another Great week at Ulpan Etzion

Yesterday brought my third week at Ulpan Etzion to a close. I had another great week filled with plenty of hard work in class, and lots of great times with new friends. This week I especially felt myself strengthening friendships with a number of different people, and it's truly a blessing to have the opportunity to take part in this program.

Lat night and organization called the Jerusalem Village organized a party for our Ulpan and other new olim at a bar in downtown Jerusalem. After taking part in the pre party at our dorms we set out on buses for downtown Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Village did a great job organizing the party for us, as they took care of all of the transportation and even gave us each one free drink.

Once we got to the bar the party started pretty quick, with plenty of drinking, dancing and good times. After an hour to an hour and half the place was packed an the mood was great. I kept on circling around to different groups of people because I wanted to dance with and enjoy the night with as many friends as possible. It's really amazing how people from all different backgrounds-Russian, French, Italian, Greek, Argentinian, British, and more-can all come together because of our one common goal of making a successful Aliyah to Israel. I've posted a couple of pics from the party below.

This morning I set out for Tel Aviv with my cousins to meet up with some more cousins and possibly some friends later tonight. I absolutely love the atmosphere in Tel Aviv, and I had yet to see the Mediterranean Sea, so I was pretty set on coming this weekend. So far it's been a great day with family, as we enjoyed one meal out right on the beach, and we just finished up a family dinner at my cousins' house. I'm sure there will be more fun to come tonight whether with my cousins or with friends. And btw I got to spend time with mini yonni aka my cousin's son. I'll post a pic below; tell me if you see the resemblance :-)
